Some of My Favorite Books…

I love to read; I have since I was a little kid. I went through a period in my life where I wasn't reading for enjoyment much because I was knee deep in my Masters program and had so much to read for school that I was burnt out. But since finishing school, I have leaned into reading again and I’m really enjoying the act of slowing down with a book, a cup of tea, and a cozy blanket. I like to mix it up and read both fiction and non-fiction. What I love most about reading fiction is getting lost in the story and visualizing the scenes and the characters.
What I love about non-fiction is learning, I love learning new skills or theories about parenting, relationships, how the brain works, or any topic related to being a human. I also love that learning now is so accessible through audiobooks or podcasts too. I'm kinda a nerd that way and I also love to share what I learn with everyone I know. So, I've put together a book list of some of my favorite educational books that I often recommend to friends and clients. I hope you enjoy! And I’d love to hear from you if you have any suggestions that I should add to my book list. Happy reading.
